IELTS Recent Writing Task- Higher Salary for Senior Managers

Some people think it is a good thing for senior managers to have much higher salaries than the other workers in a company. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Some benefits of this step are:

- Higher salary attracts skilled employees to such posts

- Keeps the senior managers loyal to the company as they feel valued

- Higher Salaries remind them of their higher responsibilities, encouraging them to focus on their job 

- Encourages others employees to work hard to reach such positions

However, this also has a few not able drawbacks. They are:

- Employees in lower positions might feel themselves unimportant and neglected, reducing their interest in job

- Other employees might feel jealous of the senior managers, and this might result in reluctance to co-operate with senior managers.
